５００MLのボトルウォーター２４本入（3ドル）をよく購入するのですが、レシートを見るとお水の3ドル以外にCASH DEPOSITとして１ドル２０セントぐらい引かれています。
またそのボトルを見ると「ME 5CENT REFUND」とか「CA CASH REFUND」と書いてあります。
この空のペットボトルをどこに持って行けばREFUND、お金が返ってくるのでしょうか?
また同様に缶のコーラも購入するのですが、これもお水同様にCASH DEPOSIT が惹かれています。
こちらもどちらに持って行けばいいのでしょうか?
あわせて教えてください。
お願いいたします。

スーパーマーケットの入り口の自動ドアに、そこから一番近いリサイクルの住所が書かれています。そこへ持っていくとペットボトル、アルミ缶、ビン毎に重さを計ってお金をもらえます。CA CASH REFUNDと書いてないもの、酢のビン、しょうゆのペットボトルなどは計算に入れてくれない場合もあります。
また、場所によりますが一本ずつ機械に入れてチケットをもらいそのスーパーマーケットのCASHIERでお金を受け取るタイプもあります。また、ウーロン茶やコーヒーのスチール缶も場所によっては受け付けない場合もあります。
Google MapでRecycle Centerでサーチすればいっぱい出てきます。

ちなみにサプリメント等のでっかいプラスチックのジャーはどこで引き取ってもらえるのでしょうか?ジャンクヤード?

アメリカ系のスーパーの駐車場にリサイクルセンターがありますよ。私はいつもRalphsに行くのですが、すべてのRalphsにある訳ではないようです。ご近所に探されてみては如何ですか?

ボトルにCA CRV (California Redemption Value or California Refund Value )
と書かれたものしか引き取ってもらえません。
リサイクルマシーンを利用する際は、バーコードを上にしてボトルの
底から投入してください。
