I checked with the post office staff, but they said that in my case there is no way to check because there is no tracking number.
I was relieved that the package arrived smoothly so far, but I will make sure to send it with tracking from next time.

I send almost daily to Japan by First Class package International Service due to my work, and it usually takes about 2 weeks to arrive.
Tracking is also available. However, from here until it arrives in Japan, it is tracked by USPS tracking.
After it arrives in Japan, you can track it on either the USPS site or the Japan Post site.
I also do everything online, including payment, and just paste the slip and send it, so when I go to the post office
I just put the package in the drop-off area, so I don't have to wait in long lines, and everything is left in the mail, including the tracking number.
Do you have a receipt or something from when you sent your First Class package International Service ？ I think the number is on there....
I hope you get there as soon as possible.

Did you get a receipt ？
As #NetSurf said,
the receipt also has a tracking number.

With tracking number or without, all first class now have tracking numbers.
If you go to the USPS website, it says tracking only in the US, but when I sent to Japan before, I could also confirm customs and delivery completion in Japan.
I suggest you check your receipt.

This time I sent my documents through a service called First class Large Envelopes. I did not fill out the customs declaration form 2976-R because I was told it was not necessary. I have the receipt, but unfortunately I don't have the tracking number.
