I finally got through to the call center today and offered to cancel my EB20, but they made a point of telling me that it could not be cancelled.

I used up my PEUC on December 19 and numbly applied for EB20 on January 5, not really understanding the PEUC extension. I soon realized that I made a mistake and offered to cancel the next day, but was told that I could still use the PEUC extension after using up my EB20 and that there was no need to cancel.

I asked him about that again today and he told me that I would not get any more PEUC because PEUC ends on March 13 and you will get EB20 until March 20.

By the way, my EB20 says that I have applied, but it is still under review and I cannot file. I did not receive a Confirmation Email when I applied.

I think there was a Survey a while ago to select PEUC or EB20, but I did not receive that Email either. There was a time when there was a Survey icon on the system, so I clicked on that, but it was not eligible and I could not do anything.

I mentioned this to the call center today, but they didn't even know there was a Survey and said that I shouldn't have received an Email from them.

I am going to call the call center again and try to talk to a different person, but my heart is slightly broken. It really bothers me that different reps say different things. 、、、、

The call center staff has been varied before, so don't worry if they give you the cold shoulder. Some staff members are friendly and helpful, so please try to attack other staff members.

According to the responsible team, some people have been able to cancel, so please try until the end.

My situation.
PEUC expired on 12/19 and I applied for EB20 on 12/23.

The following two are in the same situation.

◎ No call from UI OFFICE to confirm PEUC2or EB20 selection
◎ Cannot even SURVEY UI HOME PAGE



PEUC expired on 12/19 and EB I applied for 20. I haven't received any mail, email, or phone call from UI since then, and was given no options at the end of Jan.
Since the time I applied for EB20, and as of now, I am still getting the message "Your application has been submitted and will be reviewed. this review will take at least 14 business days. you will be You will be mailed a notice on the outcome of your application.
I have been trying to call to cancel my EB20 for the last month and have not been able to get through, and when I finally did last week, the person who answered the phone said, "You are on the second PEUC waiting list, so please be patient." I was like, "You are waiting for the second PEUC.
When I asked if I applied for EB20 and didn't have to cancel, he said [I'm on the waiting list for the second PEUC]. So I took him at his word and thought I was in the first round group this time and have been logging into the website since Tuesday morning in anticipation, but unfortunately my balance has not increased today.
I am getting quite worried. I'm getting very anxious, and I'm stressed out again, thinking if I'm in a state of Stuck...

I can't really say as it sounds like we are in the same situation, but we are not.

Thank you for sharing your comments. We were working on various things, including calling and emailing the UI office with friends who had unavoidably decided to accept EB20 under the same circumstances involved in the December 28 discrepancy.
In our case, even when we spoke to the UI telephone answering manager on the phone
"You have met the requirements for EB20 and your name is already on the list of people eligible for EB20 payments, so you absolutely cannot change to PEUC2 and you should FILE as EB20."
"You have already cleared the conditions of EB20 and your name is already on the list of people eligible for EB20, so you cannot change your name to PEUC2. The other day, when I logged into my UI page, I suddenly noticed that my MAXIMUM BENEFIT AMOUNT had changed and calculated
that the amount had increased by exactly 11 weeks of my current WBA.
And although the current payment is EB20, I received a REVISED letter from the UI office today and checked the COMMENT and found that
YOU ARE CURRENTLY FILING A CLAIM UNDER THE PANDEMIC EMERGENCY UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION.
We have talked with our friends, and we believe that the UI side felt the great movement of people like us who are parties to the December 28th contradiction, who probably raised their voices and made appeals.
And most of all, we would like to thank SUNSET and the team responsible for LOCAL for their hard work in taking action.
We were very anxious about what would happen after EB20 was over, and were seriously considering sending an opinion to the WHITE HOUSE to help them understand [the unique situation of the state of Hawaii, a state that depends on the tourism industry].
