My Win 11 desktop took

quite a while to become operable until recently, but with the recent OS update

it seems to be back to normal.


Also, the startup of apps seems to be a little faster than Win 10.

I have found the reason why I said before that USB HDDs have very slow response time.

I have an external USB hard drive like the above connected to a Win PC USB connection. When I open Explorer to access this drive, my PC configuration shows "H ： drive", but the display shows

. When I click on the inverse "Ku" to access the H ： drive, to my surprise, it takes about 7 seconds for the details to open. If I first click on the "Elements (H:)" character to the right of it, it opens instantaneously. This happens only when I turn on the PC and start it up for the first time; thereafter, it opens instantaneously.

The same thing happens when you click on the reverse "く" symbol of the E: drive "SSD 1T SSD (E:)", this one opens instantly.

I mistakenly thought that this 7 second delay was because of the USB connection, which led to the statement "USB is slow" as before.
