I may be the last, but,
I would like to report and thank you.

My husband was Processed as of Dec 14 and received a lump sum payment.
I called again today as it remained Pending.
I was told that it would be Processed within 24 hours.

It has been a really long road.

I'm sure you two will be cleared up by Christmas ！

I'm so happy for both Malo and Poncha ！ ！ ！

We are still waiting almost 3 months. I was white eyed that PEUC would swing so many people around while there are so many locos... I hope EB20 will not give us a break.

for all your help.　Progress report ？ but it has been 10 weeks since my PEUC application.
As you advised, I called Oahu Office for the first time to ask if it was glitch about Claim Certification not being done （ 11/30 ）, instead of calling the call center before that. I was told that it was due to Overpayment and to wait for the Examiner to call me back. I kept calling the Overpayment Office that week, but never got through. I called the Oahu Office again the next week and asked if they could raise my Priority to the Examiner, but they said the only way was to contact Overpayment. I faxed the Overpayment Office on 12/7, but I have not received any letter or phone call yet.
In case of Overpayment, I think the process is to cancel PEUC, use the Overpayment amount for normal UI, and then reapply for PEUC, but as I mentioned above, Claim Certification is not possible, so I am still in Pending status. I am worried if I can reapply for PEUC if the year passes.
You mentioned in another thread that you can "also confirm what to do about the EB20 application if we are still waiting for PEUC approval in January", so I will refer to that in the future as well.

Like Shoyu11, I guess many applicants who found overpayment at PEUC are rushing to the Overpayment counter. I saw a past case about Overpayment and I will write about it later in the "PEUC Unemployment Insurance 13 Week Program" Topic.

From the case study, it seems to me that in Shoyu11's case, it would be a good idea to try calling the Overpayment office every day and at the same time wait for them to call you back. Also, try a letter by mail since mail also seems to work.

The Examiner who helped me interpret the EB20 question said that they are discussing it in the UI office before giving a formal response about waiting for PEUC approval after January. The responsible team has also contacted the UI Director, and since this is the first EB20 for the UI office, I think they are systematically exploring the issue.

I will try to send it to 830 Punchbowl St., Rm 110, which is the same as the Oahu Claims Office.
The Overpayment Office phone doesn't seem to have a queue system either, only a voicemail that keeps ringing and is full or a direct voice mail line. I don't have a choice since this is the situation. Thanks again.
