Vivinavi Los Angeles旦那がグリーンカード取得して米国で１年以上働くと配偶者も現地人と同じく安く学校に行けるの??

International studentってtuitionが現地人に比べてはるかに高いですよね!でも、旦那さんが永住権を取得して１年以上こっちで働くと妻も、現地人と同じ値段で学校に行けると聞いたのですが!そしたら、かなり授業料浮きますよね!だれか、知ってる方教えてくださーい!

F-1だと12単位取らないとダメですが、わたしはH-1Bでフルタイムで2年以上（そのビザを取得してから）働き税金も納めているのでresidentの扱いになるそうで問題ないそうです。学校と弁護士に確認済みなので大丈夫でしょう。働き出してすぐの頃、学校に行こうとした所、やはりinternational料金のことと12単位の事を言われて諦めたことがあります。

ぷーさんはこれから結婚するのですか？ビザも何もないということは現在米国外にいますか？これは別のトピックになりますが、GC所持者の旦那と結婚しても奥さんがGCを取得するには何年もかかります。学校よりもまず米国に合法的に入国できるかが問題になりますよ！もし仮定の話でしたら余計に混乱するので、現状をお知らせください。

ROOSさん、奥さんもOKなはず。state taxをresidentでファイルしているかとか、CA州のID（運転免許）があるかとか、CAに1年以上住んでいることが証明できればいいようです。これは他州から引越ししてきた米国市民でも同じです。UCLAの場合だとホームページにresidencyを確認するためのチャートがあったのですが、そのページが今すぐ見つかりませんでした。繰り返しになりますが、学校により条件は異なりますよ。
