If you want to cancel a PEUC or EB20 that you have already applied for, you need to submit this form along with a letter explaining the circumstances.

Reativate a Claim Application]

Information has been shared by those waiting for the official announcement of the PEUC 11 week extension guidance, and I am reposting what I previously announced in this Topic as a reminder.

The UI office is encouraging people to file a Claim a Certification every week. However, you may or may not be able to submit a weekly Claim a Certification application due to loss of account balance.

If you are no longer able to do so, please be sure to select the reason for "Untimely or non-filing claim certification" on the Reactivate a Claim application when you are able to do so again after completing the PEUC 11 week extension application or EB20 application. and SUBMIT it. Then, submit a Claim a Certification application the next day for the week after the due date.

I heard that if you apply for Claim a Certification without following this procedure, you will be stuck in the system and in a long pending status. Moreover, only the Examiner can fix it, not the call center.

Like PEUC, glitch （ system error ） happened, confirmation number was not received, and in some cases, it was received after 4 days. I am very glad that nothing happened.

My status is
PEUC balance is zero as of yesterday
PEUC due date is 12/29/2020

Login went smoothly.

Your benefit year ends today, 12/29/2020, and you already have 0 PEUC remaining.

I know many of you are wondering if you should apply for EB20 today, but since the time limit is almost up, I will share what I just talked to on the phone （ just now on the main UI office number ）.
The person who answered was very friendly and listened to me very well, so I knew I could trust her.

My situation ； PEUC already has 0 balance as of week of 12/12, Benefit year ends today 12/29/2020,
Original UI benefit year ends 3/14/2021

1 ） First, I asked them to change benefit year ends to March, but they can't do that.
（ I also told them that my friend was able to get it changed ）
But the original （ UI end date ） is March and that is fine （ When I asked for the change, they said it was already in March. 12 /29 with PEUC benefit end date ）.

2 ） I asked if appling to EB20 after 12/29 would cause problems with the system. There was no clear answer to that question, so it may be possible to get an error.
（ But that doesn't mean that you will not be able to applique to EB20, so there seems to be no need to worry ）

As a result, it is your decision whether to applique to EB20 or wait for the PEUC extension
as before It seems that people are no longer being told that EB20 is the only option for those with 0 remaining.
I was also under the impression that there might be a possibility of a PEUC extension. （ UI staff is not clear on this ）

If you still have a balance, you don't have to rush to apply for EB20 today, even if the benefit year ends on 12/29/2020.

I just looked and the balance display that remained until about mid-January has disappeared and only shows This claim has expired as of 12/29/2020.

I also checked my UI account today and the balance that was there until February was gone.

The 12/28 state announcement states that it will be extended to 24 weeks of PEUC, and if you have not received 24 weeks by 3/10, it will be extended until 4/10.

After I applied for EB20 on December 21, I read this forum and I am worried that I have been premature.

If my PEUC balance is zero, and my PEUC will be continued until March, I will follow #663 to cancel my EB20 application.

PEUC13 week extension ended on
12/29 even though my balance has 5 more weeks to go, and furthermore, when I tried to log in
