Pochi's PUA experience can save that mother and her children.

I am sure that some locos are not aware of how widely the unemployment insurance program is accepting applicants due to the corona effect. I have informed a few of them and taught them how to apply.

The vote will be today, and I think there is a good chance that the PUA will be extended, so I am just praying that this will be the final decision.

Thanks for the link to the PUA article.
I am so glad you got the PUA extension. I asked the company what my working situation would be if I were to return and they informed me of a more difficult schedule than before. It seems they are going to cut employment and run a smaller staff for that.
The PUA help was really helpful as it was a difficult schedule for me with my children.
This year has been a year of being swamped by Corona and has given me a lot to think about.
My colleague has two children, both with disabilities. She is single and has to leave them at home to go to work
. Also, I think there were many people like me who had a hard time getting information about PUA and were stressed because they could not receive their benefits for a while.
I know there are many challenges ahead, but I hope things will improve little by little.
I have not yet received any communication from the PUA regarding my backdating, but I will share the status as soon as I do.
My claim for last week is pending, probably because of the PUA's decision to extend it. I wonder if you are in the same situation ？

I was really swept away by the Corona fiasco. While we realized important things, it was also a year that brought to light qualities of humanity that don't surface everyday, like the 911 terrorist attacks and the Tohoku earthquake. There was so much to learn about true strength from the backs of people who have not changed at all since before Corona.

Compared to Japan and the Mainland, where there have been many depressions and meltdowns due to the corona effects, we may still be fortunate in Hawaii with its warm weather, blue skies and ocean.

I salute the mother who is raising a child with a disability, the PUA has accepted peerrends who had to refuse to come to work because they could not leave their own child at home, and I believe they will be paid unless they have other disabilities （ As soon as President Trump signs it, the weekly 300 Dollars as well ）.

And may Pochi make progress.

I think you are right. In Japan, the suicide rate of children is high. And I am aware that even for single families, the only benefit like we are receiving in Hawaii is 100,000 yen given to the individual. I am also really concerned about the burden on the parents and the burden on the children. Perhaps Hawaii, with its blue skies and blue ocean, is a refreshing change of pace for us.
