I've been with PPO (Anthem BlueCross \fn165>) for about 6 years now because I can choose a good doctor directly if something goes wrong.
but I've never had a good impression of them, because new appointments are 4 to 6 months away, or when I'm told I need surgery, I'm told afterwards that there is an out-of-network doctor on the team and I'll have to pay for it myself. The good thing is that I was able to get free massages at the chiro for about a year. The doctor retired and it's gone now.
