今、僕は当て逃げ（停車中の車にこする）の加害者になってしまい、それが警察にばれて頭真っ白の状態です。明日の朝警察に電話しなくてはいけません。具体的に留学生がこのような当て逃げをしてしまうとどいった事態になってしまうのでしょうか？強制送還だけは避けたいのですが。実際に同じ体験をされた方や、適切なアドバイスをお持ちの方レス、メールをお願いします。逃げておきながら、今さらこんなことを言う身勝手をお許し下さい。今さらながら自分のしたことを悔やんでます。弁護士さんに相談するのが常だとは思いますが、なんせ明日の朝なので。今は明朝の警察とのやりとりを心配しています。今夜は寝ずに皆さんの意見、アドバイス待っています。どうかよろしくお願いします。

ボクも過去に同じ経験がありました。残念ながら、交通裁判から刑事裁判になります。（Hit &runは、犯罪だそうです。）事故を起こした管轄の裁判所に出頭し裁判を受ける事になりました。すでに、社会人であった自分は国選弁護士は使えなくて実費で弁護士を雇うはめになりました。もし、この件で有罪になるとGCはとれなくなると当時の移民弁護士は大慌てで刑事裁判の弁護士を紹介してくれ、彼に一任しました。結果、reckless driving(交通裁判扱い）にドロップでき難を逃れました。
とりあえず、明日警察にTELした時に何のチャージだと聞き、HIT&RUNであればI NEED ATTORNY.しか言わないほうが無難だと思います。
参考になればいいですけど。

ホンダさん早速のレスありがとうございます。このまま朝まで誰のレスも付かなかったらどうしようかと思っていました。幾つか質問をしたいのですが、刑事裁判ということは最悪の場合逮捕ということになるのでしょうか？また学生である僕は国選弁護人を雇えるのでしょうか？正直言って僕の英語は裁判に出廷できるほどのものではありません。日本語が出来る弁護士を雇わなければいけないと思うのですが、やはり学生ですので費用のほうが気になります・・・。やはり高いんでしょうか？質問責めで迷惑とは分かっていますが、もうどうしたらいいか分からなくて。警察には事故のことは一切喋らずひたすら弁護士が必要だと訴えればいいのでしょうか？
