私のPowerbook G4ではDVD-Rにファイルを焼くことまでは分かったんですが、書くスピードが４x Discってアップルサイトに書いてあるんです。それなら８xのDVD-R discで焼いてもいいんでしょうか？ ネットで調べても明快な答えが見つからず困ってます。

まぼさん、
古い CD ドライブは捨てましょう。私のもここへきてどんどん悪くなってます。今回鈍いスピードの CD-ROM ドライブ４台中３台がまともに読めなくなってます。以前にも 4x4x16 CD-RW ドライブが２台だめになり捨てました。レーザーアイが白内障なり緑内障にかかり読めなくなってます。レーザーヘッドは多かれ少なかれ劣化するようですね。あっしの眼と同じだ。
5.25" の DVD+/-RW ドライブもだいぶ安くなってますね。前に何百ドルも出してかったのがばかばかしくなる。

古いドライブですが、捨てたいけれど、iBookに内蔵されてるんで捨てれません！

外付けのCDバナーもあるとですが、これも古くなってきて、調子が悪かとです！
