A few years ago, Delta's LAX-HND flights were infamous for
"used car buying centers" with incredibly old B777s.

Is this true? I've never heard of it, but how can a 777 be so old when it came out after the 747?

The 777's first flight was in 1994, so if the aircraft was manufactured in that year, it must be pretty clunky.
