はじめまして
私は今ビザなしできているのですが、一度帰国し、F1ビザを申請するつもりです 申請が降りるまでの期間はひとそれぞれだと思いますが、皆さんがどれくらいかかったのか教えていただけないでしょうか？？
領事館のページには２日とかいてありますがただし絶対とはいえないというふうに書かれていますし、２日なんてありえないと言われます。是非宜しくお願いいたします

普通にwebなどで書いてある通りの期間内に届くと思います。
私の場合はトピ主さんと同じで当時働いてましたが（まだ辞めてなかった状態）確か1週間くらいで届きましたよ。速達用にしました？それだったらさらに気持ちちょっと速く届くかもね。
面接を受けた次の日なんかに届くわけないですよーものすごい人だったでしょ？もし届いたら院とかのハイレベル、本当に1番にならんでいたとか？それでも信じられないな
※ちなみにテロ以降、東京の話。
面接通れば絶対届きますよ。でも急いでるんですか？

はい 急いでいます。
まだ何も手続きは一切していません。今遊びでアメリカに来ているので、I20を作ってもって帰ろうかと思っています。面接の予約もまだしていません。領事館のホームページで予約の日程表をみましたが予約はまだ取れそうです。

私も申請した次の日には届きました。
７年のOL生活を経ての語学留学でした。
ただ、テロの前、６年前の話になります。

I-20を発行してもらうには、残高証明の提出が必要ですし、確か卒業した学校の卒業証明証（在学証明）とかも必要だったと思うので、申し込んでその日に出来るようなものではないと思います。春が近づくと、F１申請する人も多くなってくると思うので、余裕を持って、早めの申請書類の準備に取り掛かることをお勧めします。
