Of course, at least 13,000 is also the total number including military personnel killed in the conflict according to the UN, and is a false story cheerfully spread by people who do not do a very good fact-checking.

I guess there is no longer any room to know if the civilians are being slaughtered by Russian soldiers, or if it is a Ukrainian stunt to bring down Russia, or if it is just fake news. Like the presidential election, though, those who believe it will be common sense, and those who don't will just be crazy backroom media followers.
