＞ Sunrise Seto ・ , the only remaining overnight sleeper express in Japan

When I return to Tokyo from Tokushima in 2014 or so, I usually fly because the airfare between Tokyo and Shikoku is less than 10,000 yen each way if you purchase a reservation 75 days in advance. But on the railroad, the Shinkansen era has completely eliminated the overnight sleeper express.

In the meantime, JR still retains the only overnight sleeper express "Sunrise Seto ・ Izumo", which is probably for sightseeing. When I was working for a company in Japan, I received a call from one of our customers, an electronics manufacturer, that their products needed repair and calibration at their Aomori factory. I was told that sending the product back to our head office in Yokohama would interfere with their manufacturing process, so I had to go to Aomori from here.

The surface of this credit card has an electrical contact film of less than half an inch, and when you make a payment, you point the card at the card terminal to complete the payment. The antenna for contactless payment is built into the thin plastic card, and the payment process can be completed simply by holding the card over the terminal without touching it. This can also be done with an electronic watch such as the Apple Watch without having to take the card out of your wallet.

So, my question is, will this kind of contactless card payment be available in Japan? I would like to use this method of payment when I go on my next trip to Japan. I have been able to do this with my Suica card for quite some time, but I would like to use my Costco CITI Visa card, which is the only card I use here, to make all my payments during my trip to Japan.
