The first "Nebuta" festival was exciting with the parade after dark, but
restaurants along the parade did not have customers during the parade
and by the time the parade was over, the restaurants were closed and there was no business.
The restaurants complained that they had to do it in the light, so
the "Nebuta" parade was held from the second year without lights.
