ロスアンジェルスの天使たちが喜んで大騒ぎしています。ダウンタウンは毎日、お祭り騒ぎです。
サウスベイの日本人社会はどうなんでしょうかね?日本からの学生の方とか、在米日本人の方たちも質問攻めにあうかも。日本からこられている本物の武士道を心得ている方と本物の大和撫子の礼儀作法を心得ている方々、頑張りましょう！

とにかくダウンタウンは面白くなってきましたので遊びに来て下さいね。
車が無くても十分楽しい時間を過ごせます。日本人の芸術家集まれ！

将来ＬＡでＮ．ＹＯＲＫで行っているような新年のカウントダウンを行おうと言うアイデアがある。
タイムススクエアに該当する広場はないがその新スタジアムとノキアセンター辺りをコンバインして使うかもしれない。
ここ１０何年のダウンタウンの変遷は目をみはるものがある。
将来はＮ．ＹＯＲＫ とかＳ。Ｆのように其処に住んで夜は食事とかショーを観に劇場へお出ましと言う構想である。
勿論外来の人間とか観光客も楽しめるようになるので地域のビジネスは栄えるであろう。

タイムズスクエア、あれは「広場」とは言わないよ。
香港の「時代廣場」とごっちゃになってるのかな?

Ｔｉｍｅｓ Ｓｑｕａｒｅを日本語訳したらば｢タイムス広場」だけどね。
この間までＮ．Ｙに住んでいたけど、特にあのカウントダウンの時はあそこはもう立派な広場だよ。言葉の通り。
それともタイムス交差点とでも言うのか?
ちょっとＮ．Ｙの市長にでも聞いてみたらいいよ。
