車のディーラーに車を預けてメンテナンスのサービスを受ける際に
ディーラーの送迎シャトルのサービスを利用しますが
このような場合もシャトルのドライバーにはチップは必要でしょうか?
タクシーとは違うからいらないかなとも思うのですが・・・。
一般的にはどうなんでしょうか?
ご存知の方教えて下さい

フルサービスのガスステーションでチップをあげている日本人を見て驚いた事があるけれど、それに匹敵するなこれは。
サービスには何でもかんでもチップをあげなくてはいけないと勘違いしている人が多いな。まさかとは思うが、新聞配達とか引越し屋とかにあげている人いないだろうな。
あと、＄100のモーテルに泊まって、15％にあたる＄15を一週間払い続けた人もいたっけ。しっかりしてくれよ！

夫の実家では、年末、クリスマス時には顔見知りの郵便の集配の人に10~20ドルくらい?渡します。
どんな場合も個人の気持ちの問題では?
チップをあげたらいいのか、はっきりしないサービスの場合は、それこそ自分の気持ち次第で決めればいいと思います。

新聞配達人にもクリスマスには＄２０程度あげるのは常識ですよ

＄７０のモーテルに対し毎日＄５のチップを置いていた人がいた。部屋に戻ると毎日イチゴの山盛りの皿が置かれていたらしい。
