日本では分娩後、歩く前に助産婦さんがさらしなどを巻いてくれますよね?
分娩後に歩くと骨盤がずれてしまうので、分娩台の上でさらしなどをしめるのがとても重要と聞きました。アメリカではどうなのでしょうか?
やはり自分で巻くのでしょうか? それとさらしってこっちでも売ってるんでしょうか?

出産後、前もって担当の看護婦さんに言えばやってくれるかも
しれませんが忙しい場合はしてくれないかもしれないので
旦那さんにまえもってやり方を教えておいて巻いてもらうほうが良いかもしれません。さらしは、着物グッズを扱っているお店（キョウエイさんやマルカイガーデナの２階）などにあると思います。
こちらは出産後数時間で歩いてトイレに行くように促されるので
前もって出産プランのようなものをかんたんに箇条書きで書いて
それと一緒にさらし（または骨盤べルト）を分かりやすい場所に準備して置いたほうが良いと思います。
ちなみに、わたしは日本からトコちゃんベルトの産後直後用（使い捨て)を取り寄せて、看護婦さんに前もって説明した上で
出産直後も（硬膜外麻酔を使っての出産だったので出産直後も話す気力＆体力も残ってました)看護婦さんにすぐお願いしましたよ。
