今度、親が訪ねてくるのですが、その時、私の自動車を国際免許で運転する予定です。自動車保険について私の加入している保険会社AAAに問い合わせたら米国の免許がないと加入できないと言われました。ほかの保険会社で国際免許でも加入できるところをご存知でしたら教えてください。よろしくお願いします。

車を購入するとき国際免許を提示したとき何も言われませんでしたか。
とりあえずカリフォルニアの免許証を取り保険に入りましょうね。事故ってからでは遅いので。

よく旅行者保険（海外保険?）みたいなのをアメリカに旅行する人が加入すると聞きますが、その中に車事故の際の保険とかは含まれないんでしょうかね。

#4さん、その通りです。旅行者保険は、事故の際に補償があると思いますが、運転に必要な自動車保険になりうるのか?ちょっとWEBで調べたのですが、カバーされないと有りました。
