最近、日本で親が亡くなりました。
相続した日本円（預金や不動産売却益）をどうやって米ドルにして持ってくればいいのでしょうか？
あるいは、どのようにして持ってくるのがおすすめなのでしょうか？
数千万円単位になるので、現金に両替というのは現実的ではありません。
以前はシティバンクの日本支店で米ドルのキャッシャーズチェックを作れたのですが、シティバンクは日本から撤退してしまったようです。
よく横領した多額のお金を海外送金なんてニュースを聞きますが、そういう人たちはどうやって送金しているのでしょうか・・・？
どなたか、お知識や経験談をお持ちの方、ご教示いただければ幸いです。

日本から円をunionに送金できるのでしょうか？
円定期の金利はどのくらいでしょう？
為替予約ができるということですね、満期の一年前以内からでしょうか？

なんと、今日、Union Bankで、日本からの送金受け入れ用に口座開設してきたところでした。
先に書き込みを読んでいればついでに聞けたのに、惜しいタイミングでした。
でも、おそらくその円預金をするには、いったん円をこちらに持ってこないといけないのですよね？
日本で現金を入金したり、日本国内送金扱いで振り込んだりできるものだったら、有り難いですが・・・
