We too have a family of 3, 2 beds, and our monthly electric bill is $ around 140.
I still felt it was high, but Zara 1120's amount seems much higher.
We don't use air conditioners, but if you have 3 air conditioners in your house, it could be the air conditioner. What is the average for you guys ?

Condos have hot water, so I can't say that they are expensive or cheap, but
I felt that they are cheap if they have no hot water and a dishwasher every day.

We have a 1000 sq. ft. 2-bedroom, but
we only use the air conditioner at night in one bedroom, not during the day. Laundry is done twice a week, but we don't use the dryer because we live in a house.
Boiling and shower is gas
Electricity $ 360 gas $ about 100.

My neighbor has a family of 3 adults in a 4bd $ she said it is over 500.

＃ As 2 Aloha said, it seems high for a 2 bed condo. how much has the usage ≪(KWH≪) fluctuated over the past year with Heco's electricity bill? I think you need to check that first and find out if there are times when your usage has spiked. Some electricians have clamp-style ammeters, so you should be able to tell which appliances are drawing abnormal current by turning the breakers of each appliance on and off and having them check the change in current. An electrician would know which appliances usually have how much. If they still can't find anything abnormal, there may be a problem with the way the electricity is used itself. On this neighborhood bulletin board, there has been a great deal of talk about the unusual increase in electricity bills this summer, and the rate structure itself seems to have gone up quite a bit. Even at home, this month's rates were 16% higher than last month's, and 12% higher than the month before and the month before last. Usually $ about 350, but this month it was 40% more.

Thanks to the Lord for this topic.
It's not often that I get a chance to ask how much you all spend on electricity. Our house is also around $150.
2 people, 1100 Sq in a duplex, no A/C, 1 fan almost all day, at least 5 cycles of washer and dryer all day.

My experience was
1Bd 2 people old property no AC, small fridge, whirlpool electric stove in kitchen to
2Bd new property
after moving in electric bill about $80 less per month.

New appliances
Washer, Dryer, AC, electric stove flat in kitchen. Large refrigerator.
All have Energy Saving stickers.

If you own your home,
replace it with newer appliances,
or move into a newer or newly built home, you will see the difference.

Thank you for writing. I told my landlord and he said the refrigerator is old and I can replace it.　If that doesn't work, by way of changing the electricity panel on the breaker. I would like to find the refrigerator that twin mentioned with energy saving on it because we can choose the refrigerator we want with our budget.
