最近いきなりアパートのレントが月＄２０値上げされてしまってムカついてます。レントの値上げを制限するレント*コントロールってのがあると聞いたのですが＄２０プラスってありでしょうか？エリアによって違うと思うのですが僕はNorth Hollywoodです。どこでN.Hollywoodのレントコントロールって調べられるのでしょうか？

各CityHallのサイトに行って
RentControlCouncilとかなんとかいうリンクに行って
自分の住所を入れると最高何ドル上がるか表示されます。
そこに表示されているか書く以上値上がりしている場合は
ControlOfficeに行って訴えることが出来ます。
大体、各Cityとも15,16％くらいの値上げになっているようです。

OPTのレシートはもう手元に届いているのですが、VISA自体はまだ届きません。90日が過ぎたら仮の書類を受け取りにいけると聞いた事があるのですが、INSに行けばいいんですよね？必要なものがわかる方、また、最近受け取りにいった方、教えてください。

私もプラクティカル トレーニングについて質問があります。
私は ソーシャルセキュリティー＃を 持っていないのですが・・プラクティカル申請できますか?
（何回か取ろうと頑張ったのですが・・学校からのレターも むなしく・・・S.S.＃は 取得できませんでした。）
なんか 学校のオフィスの人がしょっちゅう変わってしまって・・・言うことも まちまちで、困惑中です。
どなたか、s.s.#なしで、申請してvisaを取得できたって言う人いませんか??

プロバイダーは住む地域や電話会社、希望するUP/DLの速度によって異なるので、ここが良いとはいえないと思います。せめて、ダイアルかDSLか、住む予定の地域が分からないと答えるのは無理。
ま〜無難な所で、MSN、AOLを使っていればいいんじゃないでしょうか？

日米を頻繁に往復するなら、絶対にSo-netがお薦め。日米はもちろん、欧州の一部地域や台湾などでもローミング無料。ダイヤルアップだけど、米国のプロバイダより安いし。

自分もso-net使ってます。日本払いなので、為替変動に左右されなくていいかな。米国内なら、やっぱNetzeroが安いかも。ま、ダイヤルアップネタは、トピから外れちゃうね。

takakoさん、やはり運動が1番ですよっ。食事制限しても限界あります。
現在も運動なさっているみたいですが、やり方が間違っているのでは？と思います。ちゃんとした、ストレッチ＋有酸素運動＋たかこさんにあった正しい筋トレ＋マッサージでかなり良い結果望めるはずです。
私は日本でパーソナルトレーナーとして働いてました。有料ですが1回トレーニングやってみませんか？興味があったらメール下さい。1ヶ月で３ｋｇ。。減らして見せますよっ。

私も以前アメリカにいたんだけど、逆に８キロも痩せました。しかも二ヶ月で！別にダイエットしたわけじゃないんだけど、食文化の違いでお肉なんてまずくて食べれなくて、食事は日本食中心にして毎日納豆とお味噌汁を食べていました。お金も節約していたのでよく歩いたし、夏で暑かったから毎日プールで泳いでいたら自然と痩せたよ！つまり、質素が一番という事かな。

痩せる特集をよくしている「回復！スパスパ人間学」っていう番組をビデオ屋で借りてやって見たら、本当に運動しないで痩せちゃったよ。なかなかへこまない下っ腹も２週間でびっくりするほどへこんだよ。司会が爆笑問題だからすごくおもしろかったしオススメです。
