DISH Networkで TV−JAPAN見れます。TV-JAPANと契約する必要があります。TV-JAPANは基本的に NHKの番組が見れます。一部 TV東京のTV-チャンピオンなどが見れます。
野球は アサヒホームキャストに問い合わせて見たらどうですか？確か、野球のシーズン中、サテライトで特別番組を放送してるはずです。

音楽で有名だと聞いたことがある大学は「Redlands University]です。以前レッドランズに住んでおり、私の知り合いが「音楽を勉強するためにまた留学をしに来たの？」って言われたことがあります。またそこの大学生から音楽で有名だったから来たっていうことを聞いたこともあります。調べてみてはどうでしょうか？私立の大学でとっても環境的にはいいですよ！

USCを卒業してジャズピアニストとして活躍してる日本人がLAにいるらしいですよ。音楽系の教授はいいひとたちがいるらしい。私は全くそっちのことはちんぷんかんぷんですけど記事で読んだことがあって・・・。

Docomo とか au とか J-phone とか、 こっちの携帯ダサいし英語だし性能悪いし〜

去年の春、日本に遊びに行ったときに私も日本の携帯がどうしてもほしくて耳にした情報です。すみませんが 機種名まではよく分かりません。日本の友人に聞いてみますので分かったらお知らせしますね

日本から連絡がありました 確かではないんですが､CDMA-1というものだと思います 他の情報ではAUの最近発売されたものならほぼ全機種つかえるらしいですよ

CDMA-1はAUのグローバルパスポートです。AUと契約をすればアメリカで使えます。ただし、グローバルパスポートは、現在LAではサービスがされてません。もうすぐ 使えるようになると、思います。

携帯電話をほしいのですが、ソーシャルセキュリティ取得がないと、
デポジットに約１０００ドルかかるといわれました。どこでもそうなのでしょうか？
なにかよい方法がありましたら
おしえてください。お願いいたします。

Sprintの携帯電話でしたら、Depositは要らないとCMで言ってましたけど、、、だけど月々の使用料は少々高いみたいです。
また、電話会社を変えて聞いてみるのも手かも知れません。

最初は多少高いけど($200位）AT&Tとかの携帯売ってるところ知ってますよ。電話番号教えますよ。MAIL下さい。

僕は今、アメリカで大学生なのですが、以前パスポートの入ったカバンごと盗まれてしまって、パスポートは再発行してもらったものの、Ｆ−１ビザが無い状態なのですが、日本のアメリカ大使館・領事館では現在、１日でＦ−１ビザを取得可能な、面接でのビザの申請をテロ以来、行っていないのです。
なので、夏休みに日本へ一時帰国した際にビザの申請をしようと思っていたのですが、２−３週間程しか日本にいられないため、無理ですよね・・・。
どうしたら良いのか、こういった経験のある方、または詳しく教えて頂ける方、宜しくお願い致します。

あたしの彼氏は以前、アメリカにいながらＦ−１ビザを延長してます。郵便で書類などを日本に送って延長してもらってました。でも多少時間はかかりましがた。。（＾＾；）ケースが大分異なるので山さんのケースの場合どうかわかりませんが一度弁護士に相談されて見てはどうでしょうか？！

留学生は来年１月から全て司法省が動向監視することになったみたいです。昨年の９月１１日の影響ですが。全ての学校が司法省に情報をInaternetを経由して提出することが義務づけられることになります。今後は、学校に行ってない留学生は警告を受けることになると、思います。下手すると、国外退去も有り得る。
