住所から現在の都ホテルのある場所ですね。ホテルが立つ前に何が有ったか思い出せないなあ。やはり2-3階建てのビルだったともいます。半地下になっていて札幌ラーメンが入っていたと思うのですが。オハヨーホテルと言うのはOhio Hotel の事です。あの辺りには小さなホテルが沢山有り、日本から来た人たちが住む場所が決まるまで泊まっていたりそこから仕事を探したりにぎやかだったようですよ。ちなみに向かい側に帝ホテルが有りそこから花屋さんの名前を取ったのかな？

If private school is not an option, but mid-career enrollment is not possible, public school districts would still be La canada, South Pasadena, and San Marino, but racially, LaCanada is quite mixed and may be easier to blend in. There are few rentals in these areas, and it is difficult to find a place that fits your budget. San Marino is almost exclusively Asian, with the overwhelming majority of Chinese among them. If you are not concerned about race, these areas are relatively safe in the vicinity of LA. The Japanese school is only open once a week, though, so I would suggest that you don't prioritize that convenience.

I decided on the school district based on the score. I know it's not just the score, but I avoided it because I believe that if the score is low, there must be a reason for it after all. I also avoided remote areas because I get frustrated if it is too inconvenient for daily life. My friend lives in a great residential area in a very high scoring school district, but she says it's too far to the supermarket, and all the remedial schools and lessons are too far away, so gas prices and stress are maxed out.

I live in Culver City with my family and the schools are very good and the living conditions are wonderful.
