一服の清涼剤とはよく言ったものです。２００６年に打ち上げられたニューホライズンズが冥王星に最接近し、後日大量の写真が送られてくるだろうとのことです。日々殺伐としたニュースが続く中で、ひと時、地上の争い事から離れられるニュースですね。
ほんの科学分野のニュースに過ぎないと言っても、アメリカの一面が覗けて面白いですよ。
何でも冥王星の発見者はアメリカ人（惑星中でただ一つ、アメリカ人が発見）、ところが２００６年だったかに国際天文学連合により「準惑星」に格下げされてしまい、アメリカ人たちは怒り狂った（いかにも、ですね＾＾；）。
今回冥王星の表面にハートの形があることもわかりましたね。ニュースのコメントでは「かわいそうなプルートー、準惑星に格下げされてもその表面には熱いハートがある」などと、彼らの恨みと誇りなどが表れていて、読んでいたら思わず笑えます。他にも「税金の無駄使い」という意見には、「アメリカ市民一人当たり３ドル以下だ」と言うのもあります。

夏だし、久しぶりに夜空でも見上げますか。
しかしまあ、考えてみればあんな遠いところを飛んでいる物体をよく地球から間違いなくコントロールできるものです。

1969年のアポロ以降、もうすぐ50年。どの国も月に行ってません
これだけ技術が進歩してるのにもかかわらず。
アポロは本当に足跡をのこしたのでしょうか?
ニューホライゾンはもうだいぶ前に行方不明だったような気がします。
アメリカがやってることですし。
夢が無くてすみません

アポロは子供だましだった説ですね? それから「ニューホライズンズ、行方不明」でぐぐってみたけど、何も出てきませんでした。
確かに夢がないですね。
まあ別に我々がUSA! USA! USA！ とする必要もないことですけど、そう言ったら「ハヤブサ」はまさにニッポン、チャチャチャもんでしたね。
