コリアンタウン、（もしくはそれ以外でも）おいしいキムチが「大容量で」買える店ってあるんでしょうか。好きで毎日食べるんですが日本人マーケットには小さいパックでしかおいてなくてすぐなくなります。せっかくちかくにコリアンタウンがあるのでウィルシャー沿いとかでどこか本格的なとこ知ってる方がいたらおしえてください。昔ルームメイトが韓国の方で大容量のを買ってたのですがやっぱり彼らは国から自家製のを送ってもらってるのかなあ。あと、WestLAかStudioCityもしくはコリアンタウンで鮮魚店もさがしてます。新鮮な青魚がたべたいのですがソーテルのニジヤにはいつも秋刀魚しかおいてなくて、いわしとかあじとか、どこか売ってるところ知ってる方がいたらぜひおしえてください。

皆さん情報ありがとうございます。リトル東京まではかなり遠くなってしまうので学校があるコリアンタウン、ギャラリアはHPがみつかったのですがkorean plazaはウィルシャーからどういけばいいのでしょうか。あと、小さいスーパーでもWilsheｒ沿い、もしくはW近くだと便利なので情報お願いします。とりあえずギャラリアにいってみます。

PlazaはWesternと9th の角です。すごくおおきな茶色のビルなので見逃すことはないと思います。いろいろなkoreanのお店が入っていて楽しいですよ。

キムチは酸味、辛味、コクなど好みがありますから、人によってどこの店のキムチが好き、というのが分かれると思いますが、僕は個人的にオリンピックとバモントの角に近いビバリースンドゥブのキムチが好きです。ここは多分瓶詰めで販売もしてると思います。まずはお店で食べてみるといいでしょう。
スーパーでは大きな瓶詰めが売られていますが、これも店によって味が違います。売り場のオバチャンにお願いすれば試食させてくれるところもあると思いますから、まず味見を。
コリアタウンには大型スーパーが6軒ありますから、きっとキムチの個性も違うはず。僕のオススメはアッシーマーケットです。
オリンピックヌードルショップのキムチもいいです。
ちなみに僕のキムチの好みは、酸味は弱く、辛味がやや強くコクがある、浅漬けに近いタイプです。そんなシャキシャキしてて旨味コッテリのキムチが好きです。
逆に食べた瞬間「すっぱぁ〜い！」ってタイプは苦手ですね。

ガーデナのNormandie Ave とGardena Bl.の近くにキムチハウスというキムチ専門店がありますよ。
かなりお勧めです
