Vivinavi San Diego職場で暴力を振るわれた場合

飲食店に勤めているものです。
先日、新しく入った韓国人シェフに暴力を数日にわたりふるわれました。
人事部に話したところ、その韓国人シェフはすぐに謝ってきましたが、
謝ったからといってそれでおしまい、、、というのが納得いきません。
会社側も「向こうにも言い分があるし、謝ったのだからこの件はおわりだ」と言われました。
会社側としては大きな問題にしたくないという感じでした。
こちらに非は絶対にありません。感じた事はその韓国人は韓国からの韓国人で、相当半日が強い感じを受けます。人事部の人はみなアメリカ人なので微妙な日本、韓国間の関係をよくわかっていないので、取りあえず会社を守る体制で私にも非がある、、だからお前は黙って働けという感じを受けました。
みなさんならどのように対処しますか?またその韓国人は首にもなっていません。
この件で自分が辞める、、ということも支度ありません。しかし同じところで働いているのも正直怖いです。
みなさんならどうしますか?ご意見をお聞かせください。

会社の対応が間違っています。怪我はありませんか?その場合はWorkers Comp. をファイルしてもらうように会社に言って下さい。そうでなくても、きちんとした会社であれば、暴力を振るわれた時点で病院にチェックしてもらうようにしますが。。。Labor Departmentに相談してみてください。会社は貴方を守ってくれませんよ。
