９月からLAに留学することになってましたが、ビザが間に合わず年末まで延期になってしまいました。とゆーのも、当てにしていた旅行業者がビザの代理申請はもう受付られないということで、大使館に問い合わせたところ８月から全面的にビザ取得者には面接が課せられので代理申請は認めないとのことでした。
正直これを知ったときはムカつきました。
学校にキャンセルと変更を申し出たところ１１月中にI−２０が発行されるみたいなんだけど、それから運良く１ヵ月後にF-1が取れたとしても結局LA到着は学校開始の２〜３週間前。
でも到底１ヶ月で簡単に取得できるとは思わないし、、、これってスムーズに取るこつとかあるんですか？
学校のI-20も催促しないと送ってこないなんて普通なんでしょうか？？また同じ失敗を繰り返しそうなんで何かいいアイデアある人いたら教えてください。ちなみに個人でF-1取得した方に限らせていただきます

僕も自分で大阪の大使館に行ってＦ−１を申請したけど、何の問題もなかった。がしかし、8月からビザ取得者（更新者も含め）全員面接をしなければなくなったので、すぐには取れないでしょう。別に旅行業者が悪いのではなく、法律が変わったから仕方のないことです。あなたのような人はほかにもたくさんいるはず。大使館でも面接も予約できるのでは？今からだったら、Ｉ−２０が来るころに予約とかできるのでは？？？

カナダでＦ−１を申請って駄目かな〜？ NAFTAとか有るから、いくらか日本にある米国大使館よりカナダにある大使館のほうがヒマそう。。 日本人が日本国外で米国ＶＩＳＡの申請って駄目だっけ？
お金かかりそうだけど､､時間短縮はできるかもよ〜。

そうなの？商用でも商用目的で人間が行き来するならある程度のＶＩＳＡ関係も考慮されて手続きとかが少なそうに思えたもんで。。。
