ロスに来て車が絶対必要不可欠な事にびっくりさせられてます。そこで、何処の車屋さんが良いのか悪いのか、保険屋さんはどこが良いのか悪いのかもしくは、学生ローンの組み方とか知っている方がいましたら情報交換しましょ！

大学のある課題のリサーチのため日本語のページを使って検索したのですが、カリフォルニアにある”サンタローザー島”のスペルを教えてほしいのです。
もしかすると、日本語と英語での発音は違うかもしれません。
もし知ってる方がいましたら教えてください。

「サンタ ローザ島」もしくは、「サンタローザ島」と日本語でタイプして検索すると、６件出てくる。
多分、「ローザー」とタイプしたから、でてこなかったのだと思う。がんばってね。

ごく最近学生ビザでメキシコに観光に行かれた方に質問です。来週メキシコに日帰り観光に行こうと思ってるのですが、果たして、I-20の裏に学校からのサインはいるのでしょうか？一応国外になるわけだし・・・私は学生ビザでSEVISのI-20の方ももっています。またボーダーでのチェックって、空港のIMMIGRATION並に厳しいのでしょうか？どなたか最近行かれた学生さんいっらしゃいませんか？今回初めて行くので色々教えていただきたいのですが。

SEVISのI-20使ってボーダー越えたことまだ一度もないんだったらメキシコから入る時に別室に連れてかれるってよ。SEVISのI-20をactivateするためにね。2回目からは普通に見せるだけで良いらしい。だから別室に連れてかれてもビビらないこと。

つい最近OPTを受け取った人がいましたら、何でもいいのでOPTに関する情報をお願いします｡私は今申請中で、申請開始から９０日以上経ったので、取りに行こうと思ってます。プロセスにかかる時間は人それぞれなんでしょうか？宜しくお願いします。

いや、OPTを申請するにはGPAとか関係無いと思うよ。ただ大学を卒業予定とか、その辺の条件はあるけど。OPTはF-1で学校行って、その後インターンみたいな感じで（給料貰ってもOKだけど）自分の分野で経験を積むためのビザだから。
OPTさん：
以前にもOPTについてのトピ一杯ありましたよ。もしもっとOPTについて知りたいなら、過去のトピックを読み返してみたらどうでしょうか？
OPTは申請してから大体３，４ヶ月待つって言いますけど、人それぞれです。直ぐ来る人も居れば、何時までたっても来ない人も居るし。私の場合は４ヶ月くらいできました。でも３ヶ月過ぎても来ない場合は、テンポラリーのカードを申請しに行ける。めんどくさいけどね。そのテンポラリーで働き始められるよ。でも、どうしても来ない場合は、何回でもクレームの電話なりしたほうがいいよ。結構いい加減なとこあるから。(苦笑）

オンラインで確認したところ、私のＯＰＴ申請は、２１日付けで処理されているようなんですが、電話をして質問したところ、その日付から１４日くらいでカードが郵送されてくるそうです。その間は、待つしかないようで、取りに行くことはできないと言われました。ところでOPTさんは、どうやって就職活動していますか？よければ、教えてください。

私も自分のstatusを確認したところ、
25日付けで処理されているようです。
私は申請してから引っ越したんですが、その確認の電話を先ほどしました。電話ではこれから３０日以内に届くはずです。と言われました。就職活動はひたすらネットや新聞で求人を探したり、斡旋会社に登録をしてますが、今のところ何にもありません．．大変ですけどお互い頑張りましょう。
