三年前に 一軒家を購入して以来、水道代が非常に高く困っています。
住んでいるのは私一人で、日中家には誰もいません。初めは＄１００程でしたが
それでも高いなと思っていました。数人の友人に聞いても約３人家族でも７０ドル位です。
暫く１６０ドル程毎月払っていましたが、最近 水道局の方に来てもらい調査をして頂いても
何も問題はないとの事。（水漏れなど。。）今日 水道の蛇口にブロックするものを買ってきました。隣人が使っているとは思いたくないのですが みなさんはこの様な経験をされたことはありますか? 何か良い手段があれば教えてください

来月１２月の水道代請求メールを見て、驚きました。$209。
いきなり高くなってびっくりした先月１１月が、$155。
10月は、$72。
9月は、$61。
9月と12月を比べると、実に３倍以上になってます。
CA WATER SERVICE で過去１年間の水道代を調べてみました。
昨年12月、$71。
昨年１１月、$62。
やっぱり３倍です。

うちは毎月請求ではなくて各月ですが地区によって違うのですか?
そしてCa Water Serviceからの請求ではなくてCityからの来ているようなんですがこれも地域によって違うのでしょうか?

各月ではなくて隔月ですね。
City of Los Angeles では DWP (Department of Water ＆ Power) がその部署で、隔月に請求書が送られてきます。
うちの DWP からの前回 (9/2/15 - 11/3/15) の請求書では総額が
544ドルで、そのうち水道のチャージは138ドルです。ですから1カ月なら69ドルになります。
3bed/2bath の一軒家で、大人が3人住んでいます。また芝は取ってしまったものの、
花壇がかなりあり、そこにスプリンクラーで水を撒いています。

続報です。
水道代は毎月、銀行からの AUTO PAY で支払っています。
１１月分の水道代請求金額が昨日メールで来てました。
支払いは１２月中頃です。
昨夜、CA WATER SERVICE に外の WATER LINE が LEAK している可能性があるので、調べに来て欲しいとメールしました。
今日早速返事があり、来週調べに来てくれるようです。
