Vivinavi Los Angeles軽トラックのことで教えて下さい

友人（アメリカ人）が、日本の６６０ccのトラックの購入を考えています。
Ebayなどで、６０００ドル近くで中古のものが出てるのですけど、一度、ディーラーに何台かあったのを目撃しているらしいのです。
ただ、軽トラって、アメリカでStreet Legalなんでしょうかね?
最近、また、その軽トラを見かけたディーラーに行ってみたらしいんですけど、もう、無かったそうです。あれは、ディスプレイが目的だったのかな。。と言ってましたが。。
オフロードの改造軽トラってのは、結構、ウェブを探すとあったりするんですけどね。
軽トラを見かけたことのあるかた、情報等ください。よろしくお願いします。

#17の文はどう見ても”釣り”でしょう。斜線と車線がちゃんと入れ替わってるし、この滅茶苦茶な日本語力は、皆の反応を計算してやっているように見える。挙句の果てに「アジアン人」って。。どう見てもワザとでしょう。その証拠にこれだけ反響が有ったのに当の本人はアレ以来なにも書き込んでないよ。

カタリーナ島に行くと軽自動車沢山走っていますよ。ちゃんとナンバーもあるけどたぶんカタリーナ限定のローカルルールでしょうか?右ハンドル、左ハンドル両方見ました。
