この度、リビングの床を絨毯からフローリングにして床暖房に変えたいと考えています。日本ではよくありますがアメリカでは床暖房にしている家が少ないように思います。実際、一度来て頂いた大工さんはあまり床暖を扱ったことがないと言うことでした。床暖のフローリングを取り付けてくれる業者（出来れば日本の方）を探しています。
どなたかご存知の方教えていただいてもよろしいでしょうか?また、床暖に改装された方のご意見も伺いたいです。どうぞよろしくお願いします！

私もフローリングにしたあと床暖にすれば良かったと後悔しています。こちらでは自分でやる人が多いので、日本人ハンディマンの方に相談したうえでネットで購入して、その方に取り付けをお願いすることも出来ると思います。下にURL貼っておきます。
あとディズニーランドの近くにタイルやフローリング材の専門店が集まっていて、一般客や業者にもよく知られている場所があります。State College Blvd.だったかな。
そこに床暖のサンプルを置いている店舗がいくつかありました。日本人経営のお店はありませんでしたけど、床暖の販売・取り付けをやっている業者がいるんだなぁと思ったので覚えています。

情報ありがとうございます。自分でネットで購入した後にハンディマンの方に頼むのは良いアイデアですね。コストをかなり控えられそうです。床暖のサンプルを置いてあるお店もとても気になりますが、ディズニーランドの近くですと家からかなり遠いので行けそうにないです。。けどいろいろと情報ありがとうございました！

私の家は床暖です。
日本で三菱がやっているエコキュートと同じです。
うちがやったのはアメリカの会社ですが、現在私が日本に居るので会社等の詳細がわかりませんが、もし必要であればご連絡します。

フローリングと床暖房の組み合わせ
そうでなくとも乾燥しているcalif..
フローリングの木は益々乾燥して。。
それに耐えられる材質が必要だと思います。
オンドル形式だと
突風 地形の風の影響で煙突は逆流防止等工夫が必要です。
