Vivinavi Los Angeles加湿器のフィルタ−の役目

加湿器を利用するシーズンになってきましたがフィルタ−付きと無しの機種では
何か体調に違いが出て来るのでしょうか。
５年くらい使っているといつの間にか製造中止でフィルタ−を探すにも苦労するので
変化が無ければフィルタ−を探す手間を考えると無しの機種が便利と思いますが
どちらをお使いですか。

私の考えが正しければ、あれはフィルターと呼ぶより水分を気化させる素子と言うか媒体でしょう。確かに空気を通すのですぐ汚れるしフィルターの役目もしていますけど。
うちでは水の電気抵抗を利用した、一番シンプルな方法で水蒸気を作る Vaporizer と言うのを長年使っています。多分今でも20ドル以下で売られていると思います。

長所は暖かいスチームを放出すること。小さい部屋で2台も同時につけると、部屋がスチームサウナみたいになります。壁や窓が露結するので毎日の1台以上の動作はあまり勧めません。上記の会社 Vicks でスチームの出るところに入れる、咳や喉の痛みを和らげる薬も発売しています。
短所は準備が他の機種より少し面倒なこと。電気ヒーターと同じようなものなので、電気を食うこと。点け初めは650Wくらいで、水が少なくなるにつれ下がってきます。
