department of health の出生証明書などのvital record についてお聞きしたいのですが、私の知り合いがvital record を申し込んで3週間以上たつのですがいまだに送られてきていません。結構急いでいるのですがvital recordの取得まで結構時間がかかるものなのでしょうか?また Furlough friday の影響があるのでしょうか?
明日あたりに電話で確認はとりたいと思ってるみたいなのですがお役所ということもありあまりあせらせるようなことはしないほうがいいのでしょうか?
どんな情報でもいいので教えていただけたら嬉しいです。
不適切な投稿でしたら申し訳ありません。
結構困っているのでよろしくお願いします。
＊日本で国際結婚をする際に必要なのですが来日するまであまり時間が残されていないため困っています。

出生証明書などは、アメリカで発行したことがないので、
詳しくはわかりませんが。。。
アメリカはいい加減なところがあるので、
確認の電話はしておいた方がいいと思います！

アプリケーションに不備が無ければ、DOHに受理されてから
2-3週間かかるみたいですよ。
その場合の2-3週間はworking daysだと思われますので
実際的にはもっとかかるのでは?
