日本語で調べていませんか。英語で調べればすぐ出てきますよ。ものの数分で「簡単ではない」ということがわかるはずです。３年も結婚生活なさっているなら英語は堪能ですよね？

英語のサイトも見てみましたが、離婚弁護士のことばかりだったような感じがしたので、自分でできる手続きとして、ＬＡと違うのか知りたいのです。英語は堪能とまではいきませんが、サイトは読んで理解することはできます。

３年前にラスベガスで結婚したのですが、
現在夫との離婚を考えています。ラスベガスでは結婚も離婚も簡単だと聞きましたが、インターネットで調べてみても、情報が得られません。
手続きの仕方を知ってる方がいらっしゃいましたら、教えていただければと思います。

In re your above-mentioned case, divorce is not as easy as a quick marriage. Under one single word of divorce, numerous attorneys devote their lifetime, if ever. Many circumstantial facts and situation are interwoven into a big unsolvable mass.

For your reference, here is the simplest situation among divorce cases; it is so-called “uncontested divorce”, which means you, petitioner, and your husband, Respondent,
both parties resolve the case through a mutually agreed and negotiated settlement. In this case, the parties usually don’t even need to go to court. They simply sign a Marital Settlement Agreement or Stipulation for Jdgment, which is then incorporated into the Judgment and submitted to the court.

Once you submitted your form, the question is entirely up to judge to decide. If the judge finds everything is in order, and in such situations only, he or she will sign a Judgment for Dissolution of Marriage immediately “ congratulation, you are single again”. If any of issues can not be resolved, such as assets, child, alimony, rights…., FIND A LAWYER.

Regarding requirement for a divorce in California, In order to qualify for a dissolution of marriage, one of the spouses has to have been a California resident for the last six months, and a county resident in the same county where the case is filed for the three months immediately preceding the filing of the case.

ふぉいさん、Legal advice さん、レスありがとうございました。ラスベガスでの離婚はネバダ住民でなければいけないのですね。それも知りたいところでした。
となるとＬＡですべきですね。引越しはできないので。カリフォルニアでの手続きはわかっています。結婚５年以内で子供なし、持ち家なし、資産２万５０００ドル以下なの
で、双方が合意していればフォームをサイトからダウロードしてコートに提出すれば弁護士をたてなくてもよいはずだったと思います。裁判所から何も言われなければ６ヶ月後に離婚証明書が発行されるかと。
ベガスで結婚同様簡単に離婚できるとは、間違った情報だったようですね。教えてくださってありがとうございました。
