I suggest you ask questions of locals in the "Hawaii PUA Updates&Support" Facebook Group （ to see which advice is not based on word of mouth but on real life examples. ）.

You can also ask the call center, but the PUA, like the UI, has been getting disparate advice from the call center for the last year.

After getting advice from locals on the Facebook Group, I think it would be a good arrangement to reconfirm with the call center whether the advice is accurate before submitting the labor report, which would prevent as much trouble as possible later on.

Since the company name had not yet disappeared in the normal claim, I reactivated it today, 4/11/14.

Reason:
Not working. Because we have determined that paid work is not WAGES.
(I also selected yes just to be sure, but there is no indication to enter the amount or time)

Was I correct in answering No here ？

In case you were wondering how much pay you were paid in March,
Did you Did you receive residual pay, commission or other deductible income such as bounuse,or back pay?
(I don't think there was anything else to declare other than this item)

Please answer NO. If you answer YES, you will be systematically trapped.

If you have been paid since you obtained unemployment insurance, you can answer YES. Paid pay falls under "residual pay".

If the employer information disappears on your next File a Claim Certification application, you are done. Alternatively, you can open the Reactivate a Claim application until you are about to click the submit button to check if the employer information is missing.

I don't know how many days it will take this year when the UI system is upgraded, but last year, there were many cases where the employer information disappeared 2 or 3 days after the Reactivate a Claim application was submitted.

Applications for 4/10 and up to 4/17 were approved in about 10 days each week.
4/24 was approved immediately after application.

I tried to apply for 5/1 today, but it seems to have been changed to Biweekly.

I recently moved and got 1500 ＄ ＋ a month and a half free at nobhill studios. There were cheaper places around, but I thought it was the best for the size. I can't imagine that before Corona, the cheapest studio was 2500 ＄ and the most expensive was usually 3000 ＄ or more. I don't know how much cheaper it will get, but I hear it will be another year or so before it goes back to normal.

I think maybe people here got their SSN a long time ago, so I looked at the SSN website to get updated information, and
there is no mention anywhere that a translation of the family register is required. I don't know why they need foreign untranslated documents in the first place.

I'm really annoyed with the receptionists and nurses who ask me 3 or 4 times in one routine checkup if the flu shot is free ？ or if it's because the hospital gets paid ？ or if I really don't get it ？ every time. I've never had the flu, though I've never had a flu shot, and maybe that one time a few years ago when I might have had the flu, but I worked normally. As you can imagine, I got flustered when I went to the gym, so I stopped exercising. By the way, I hear good people around me say they got the flu for the first time after taking a flu shot.

Many people around me said that it didn't make much difference whether they used a lawyer or not.
(Especially those who were expecting to speed up the process said it was exactly the same without using a lawyer. I think if you read it carefully, it's not that difficult.
