移民弁護士 ボビーリー/Bobby Lih氏が1月頭に急逝されたと友人から聞きました。
私もＥビザを申請しておりましたが、別の会社で無事スポンサーしてもらい取得ができたので、お断りの電話を入れようと思っていた矢先に友人からボビー氏が急逝されたと聞きました。年明けに連絡があった際は普段のように元気そうでしたのでにわかに信じ難いです。
現在音信不通のようでホームページなどには急逝についての報告は一切ありません。
通常弁護士がなくなった場合はなにか公式に発表があってもよいかと思います。
まだほとんどの方は知らないようですので、こちらにて一応報告させて頂きます。
これはまさかライアンの再来なのでしょうか？

先日ちょうどお返事を頂きました。
事務所はスタッフも後継者もいないため閉鎖されており、書類も何も引き継げないようです。それではあまりにも酷だということで、日本人の方が救済に当たっているとのことでした。色々アクションを起こしてくださっていますが、書類が引き継げない以上対応できないケースもあるようです。

弁護士でない人が弁護士業務はできないでしょう。
できるとすれば書類の整理ぐらいでは。

亡くなったのは本当のようですよ。私も過去にお世話になりました。私の申請中の友人はすぐに他の弁護士さんに切り替えました。お金は戻りませんが、自分のビザを進めることが優先。もともと彼は仕事の進捗がかなり遅かったため、お金出してでも切り替えたほうがいいと思いますよ。問題は、申請がグレーで切り替えられない人です。彼は他の弁護士さんでは断られる可能性のある案件をたくさん受けておられたので、申請中の方はいそいで他をさがしたほうがいいです。
