Vivinavi Los Angeles隣人のタバコの煙が部屋に入ってきて困っています

平屋のduplexタイプのアパートに住んでいます。
隣人の方の吸うタバコの匂いが私の部屋にも入ってきます。
地上一階なのでベランダ等はなく、おそらく隣人は部屋の中で吸っているかと思い、また窓を開けて吸っているかと思うのですぐ隣の私の窓から匂いが部屋に入ってくるかと思います。
相手が窓を閉めてタバコを吸うこともできないだろうし、またこちらもずーと窓も締め切るわけにはいかないので、どうしたものかなとおもっています。
現状は隣人が家にいる時間は窓を閉め切って対処していますが、これもずーとはできないのでかなり苦痛です。
また浴室でシャワーを浴びるときは換気扇がないのでどうしても窓を開けなくてはいけませんが、そこから匂いがはいってきます。
せっかくお風呂に入っているのに、体にタバコの匂いがつくのが嫌でたまりません。
賃貸なのですが部屋でタバコ禁止という契約もないので、やはりこちらが我慢するしかないのでしょうか?
仕事や外でタバコの煙を吸うのは仕方ないにしても、自分のプライベートな空間にまでタバコの匂いに悩まされるのが苦痛です。
また匂いうんぬん以前に煙草の煙は有害でありますので、二次喫煙してこちらにいいことはありません。
現状では窓を閉めるしかないのですが、先ほど言ったようにお風呂のときは閉めれませんし、隣人が吸っていないときを見計らってお風呂に入るもですが、入浴中にまた吸いはじめるのでどうしようもありません。
何かいい対処方法、問題解決の道があれば教えてください。
ちなみに私はまったくタバコを吸わない人ですが、愛煙家の方へのバッシング、タバコを吸う、吸わない論争ではないので、どうかご理解の上、ご教授いただければとお願いいたします。

お店で新品の空気清浄機購入いたしました。
その空気清浄機には本体とは別に別包装してある「odor-reducing-Pre Filter」なるものが入っており、お好みに応じて自分でセッティングしてくださいとのことです。
そこで思いついたのですが、これをバスルームの小窓に合わせてカットし窓に装着すれば、小窓から入ってくるタバコの匂いが少しは軽減されるかと思ったのですがいかがでしょうか?
リビングやキッチンの窓は就寝前に完全に閉めればいいのですが、バスルームは就寝前にシャワーを浴びたりする都合上、湿気がたまっていることが多いので今までは窓を開けたまま就寝していました。（人が入れない、天井付近にあるかなり小さい小窓ですので治安上は心配ありません）
またシャワーのタイミングだけでなく、バスルームはトイレも入っておりますのでいろんな意味で常に換気、窓は開けていたいものです。
今は仕方なしに就寝前に締め切るようにしましたが、そうしてから一気にカビが生えるようになり、またなんとなくトイレ特有の匂いも感じ、それが古いアパートのドアなので隙間があるのでどうしても隣の寝室まで匂いが感じます。
ですのでやはりバスルームは小窓を常に開けていたいのですが、隣人のほうは起床が私よりもかなり早く、早朝からタバコをぷかぷかしているのでどうしても就寝前に占め徳必要がありましたが、先に言ったフィルターをかませば窓を開けたまま換気＆タバコの匂いも軽減できるかなと思いましたが、この方法では意味ないでしょうか?
やはり空気清浄機の中に入れないと意味がないのでしょうか?
もちろんフィルターは加工して取り外し可能にして就寝前だけはめるようにすればいいかなと思っています。
どうかお知恵をくださればうれしいです。

ちなみにこのフィルターは本体に装着し、窓につけるのが有効ならばもうひとつこのフィルターを別売りで買おうと思っています。

室内でもタバコ禁止という、タバコ全面禁止のアパートとかはあるんでしょうか?
あっても高級アパートで家賃高そうですが、情報あれば教えてください
