現在、F１のOPT期間中で、結婚によるグリーンカードの取得を考えております。
日本で申請した場合のほうが、早く労働許可が手に入ると聞いたのですが、そうなのでしょうか?必要書類なども変わってくるのでしょうか?
諸事情により、来年の４月くらいまでは一緒に住めないのですが、日本で申請する場合も、申請時に同棲していないことはまずいのでしょうか?

ここで聞くより、少しお金払ってでも弁護士、
特に移民弁護士に聞くと良いよ。
法律はしょっちゅう変わるものだから、基本的な事は
弁護士に聞かないと後から知らなかったーと
言うことで大変な事になったりするよ。

＃３さんと#4さんの言うことが正しいと思います。
トピ主さんとご主人が米国在住中として一言追加します。
グリーンカード又は２年間のカードを実際に手にするまで、米国を離れることは避けるべきです。
過去に２人の友人が２度と米国に入国出来なくなったことがあります。
もし何かトラブルが起きた場合米国にいれば弁護士に相談も出来ますが、日本いいた場合難しいでしょう。

大変なのにあまり素人で適当な指図して、何か重要事項が抜け落ちてたら責任取れないでしょ！
