こんにちは、初めましてグリーンカードと申します。
結婚をし、グリーンカードの申請手続きの準備を行っています。
I-485の"Current USCIS Status"と"Expires on"項目について質問があります。
私は現在学校に通っております。学生ビザは期限が切れましたが、I-20は有効です。この状況の場合、"Current USCIS Status"と"Expires on"項目はどのように記入すれば宜しいのでしょうか。
ご教授お願いいたします。

日本で結婚した娘さんですが、GC申請後大使館の面接までに約２年かかりました。まだオバマの時代ですらです。
その間じっとしていて渡米もできず。
その前には婚約者に会いにアメリカにはESTAで渡米
年に三回目でLAX入国時なにか言われたそうです。

学生ビザは切れていても、I-20が有効であれば問題はないのです。

それは承知しているのですが、"Current USCIS Status"と"Expires on"の欄になんと書いていいのかがわからないのです。
"Current USCIS Status"はF-1 visa
"Expires on"はF-1 visa の期限でいいのでしょうか。もしくは、I-20の期限がいいのでしょうか。

"Current USCIS Status"はF-1 visa
"Expires on"はF-1 visa の期限です。

手続きが進めばビザは切れていても問題ないですが、
USCISに申請書が届く時点では
合法的に滞在できるステータスがないといけないと
思います。
F1は切れていても問題ないんですか？

万が一にも間違っていたら、後がやっかいなのよ。
パラリーガルでもいいから申請書類をきちんとやってくれる人を雇ったほうがいいわ。

こんにちは。
確か、Ｆ１ビザは、米国に入国する為のビザで、米国に滞在する為には、Ｉ－２０が滞在許可書になるはずですよ。
その為、私も＃７さんの回答と同じ意見です。
旦那様に、イミぐれのヘルプデスクに電話して聞いてもらったらいかがでしょう？
面接の時に、確実に、Ｉ－２０の有効期限等を調べられます。
