来月、渡米します。
日本から、ノートパソコンを持って行こうと思っているのですが、インターネット接続するには、どうすれば一番良いのでしょう？
日本で、海外でも利用可能なブロバイダ契約をすればよいのでしょうか？
それとも、やはり現地でブロバイダ契約をする方がよいのでしょうか？
パソコンほとんど初心者なうえ、英語力も乏しいのですが、簡単に契約できますか？
どこか良い会社など教えてください。
寮に滞在する予定なのですが、部屋に電話線があればよいのでしょうか？
それさえも良く分かりません。。
月々の支払いがなるべく安く、使い放題が希望です。
因みに、室内のみの使用で、外出先でネット接続は行いません。
知識のある方、ロスでインターネット接続されてる方、教えてください！！
よろしくお願いします！

最近の寮の建物は、インターネット回線設備が整って接続無料というのがよくあるので、それについて寮に問い合わせてはどうでしょうか。差し込むだけでインターネットがタダで利用出来る大学の寮多いです。

Recess さんが言うように、大学の寮ならその大学のネットワーク回線が各部屋にあるところもあるそうです。寮でなくてもその大学の生徒ならタダでダイアルアップが使えるところもあります。

多分日本で契約するタイプはこちらではアクセスポイントがなかったり、トールフリーの番号が繋がりにくかったりすることがあるようですよ。年単位で滞在するなら、こちらで契約した方が経済的でしょう。

日本でも海外でもASAHI-NETを使ってます。数年前散々調べてそこがNo1（私の中では）でしたが、その時とは状況がだいぶ変わってるので、今はどうだかわかりませんが。どのくらいの頻度で帰国するかにもよると思います。
