Traffic is terrible on PV mornings.
Palos Verdes dr and other roads near schools are very congested on weekday mornings.
There are many winding roads with no guardrails on the hills, so good drivers are a must.

Trump's golf course and Terrania are both remote, winding, and bumpy roads, and the freeway is almost 30 minutes away, which is just inconvenient. I moved from Silicon Valley to an RPV with a view of the ocean 2 years ago, and I considered RH at the time, but the thing is that in RH you get a nice night view of LA, but not many houses with a view of the ocean. RH is basically a gated community, so people who have no use for it are not allowed in. Other than that, I don't see much difference. I think RH has always been a place for people who want to own horses. 50+ years ago, it was a status quo to have a horse at home. Well, tennis courts were the same then. Pools were commonplace. RPVs are totally different in different places. Houses with larger lots are of course more expensive.
As for the school district, the reason why the school districts in the areas of expensive houses are better is not because the teachers are better, but because the parents are more educated. On the contrary, teachers somehow mistakenly think they are the best, but they are often the worst. Since these are parents who can afford expensive houses, they are often doing just fine. However, in recent years, everyone has aged and many of them are old.
Estate is indeed different. That place was too expensive for me to buy. The streets are wide, there are no telegraph poles, and the house lots are large. If you can afford it, I recommend Estate.
I considered Hemosa and Manhattan, but the lots are small and the yards are tiny. But it is certainly an attractive place to live. We also considered NP in OC, but again, few ocean views and more expensive than RPV. We also considered Huntington, but we didn't like the town. In the end I think it comes down to preference. But what is clear is that you have to buy a house with cash. Even if you take out a loan later, it is still cash to buy. Anyway, Chinese are buying with cash. Prices are also up by 10%, which is the norm.

I have lived in PV for many years and would recommend it. In the mornings, Hawthone is congested all the way to the Pen High area, but if you go from Crenshaw, it is smooth. My kids go to Kinder and the schools and community are great. There is a Trejo, Ralphs, Pavillion, Target, etc., cafes, clinics, veterinary offices, etc. It takes about 15 minutes to get to PCH from the Golden Cove Center area, and the scenery is great and the air is great. Two people in a car parked at a parking lot on the PV shoreline last week were shot and killed by someone. I happened to be there the other night in the middle of the night and saw several candles placed and lit at the murder scene.

It's safer to drive on small streets in residential areas than on big main streets because there are no police cars

When we go south of Gardena, we drive on the street.

Number 192, your head is so off, people who used to be expatriates and later switched to permanent residency
there are a lot of rotten people, when you could get a board.
This has nothing to do with car license, wash your face and come back....
By the way, there was a Japanese guy whose nickname was Choromatsu, he borrowed money from other people and went back to Japan
and came back to the US when he forgot about it.

It used to be much easier to apply for permanent residency.
"Visa expired" then you could only get a permanent residence visa, so you applied for a green card.

There was no limit to the number of applications for lottery permanent residence, and each person could apply for as many as they wanted.
A friend of mine printed about 2,000 applications and won.

I wonder if the people who switched to Permanent Resident status will stay in the US for the rest of their lives.
If you are ready to make your bones in the U.S., you have to become an American citizen.
