先日、フリーウェイでDUIとして逮捕されました。およそ１２時間の拘留の後釈放されましたが、いったいこの後どうなっていくのでしょうか?
裁判所へ出頭する日時が記載された書面をもらいました。免許証を没収されたので、DMVへ仮の免許証を持っていき、Hearingの予約を取りました。
ということは、少なくとも２回の出廷があると思うのですが、私は学生ビザでこちらに滞在していて、英語力がとても心配で通訳の方はこちらで用意しなくてはいけないのでしょうか、それとも依頼すればあちらで用意していただけるのでしょうか?
とても大きな過ちを犯してしまった後悔と、この先どうなるのかととても不安です。が、他の大切な命を犠牲にする前に捕まったのが何よりの幸いだと思っています。
何かと移動することが多いため、車が乗れなくなるのはとても困り、車の免許がどうなるのかという心配と、日本に一時帰国する予定なのですが、こちらへまた入国する際に入国拒否されるのではないかという心配があります。
たくさんの弁護士事務所からダイレクトメールが送られてきましたが、学生でお金の余裕もないため、弁護士さんにお願いすることもできません。
どなたかDUI関連の知識をお持ちの方、ご意見よろしくお願いします。

罰金って何回かに分けて支払うことはできるんですかね?

出来たと思うけど、結構な額の手数料がそのたびについたと
思う。たとえば、＄４００の罰金を4回で払うと1回につき
＄１３５とか。もっとだったかもしれないけど。

↑私の書き方が悪かったかもしれませんが、
＄１３５が手数料ではないです。＄４００を4回ではらうと
1回につき＄３５くらいの手数料がついたという意味で
できれば、お金を貯めておいて期限ぎりぎりに一括で
払うのが一番良いです。知り合いは最初、知らないで＄４００くらいの罰金のうち＄１００を払ったらバランスが＄３００じゃなくて
＄３３５くらいだったのでびっくりしていました。だから＄１００
を払っても＄６５払ったことにしかならないということです。
そのあとは残高を全部貯めて、Due Dateに払ったそうです。
