I always buy green perilla seedlings from Vivinavi private sellers. 3 plants $ 5, enough to harvest.
They are in the same condition as when you buy them, soil is in place, nothing to do, just water and harvest, easy.

Every plant has its sprouting season. As for green perilla, it is available at Marukai and NIJIYA every March and April from past March to before summer.
There is no reason to look for them outside of that period.
