Vivinavi Los Angelesアメリカからキューバーに観光旅行に行けますか？

年末年始の休みに日本の友達が、ロサンゼルスに旅行に来ます。
基本私と常に一緒に遊んでいる感じですが、ただ友達はロサンゼルス滞在中に2泊3日ぐらいでキューバ観光に行きたいそうです。
私はLAに長年住んでいて、アメリカ市民権を持っています。またあと日本の国籍もまだ持っていますので、二重国籍です。
オバマになってからいったんアメリカとキューバの国交が少し良くなったと言いますが、トランプになってからまた国交が悪くなったと聞きます。
そこで質問があります。
①もし私がアメリカ人（アメリカパスポート使用）で、観光に行くのがベストでしょうか？それともアメリカ人が観光に行くのはやはり煩雑な手続き、それから無事帰国後に何かリスクはありますでしょうか？（政府に要注意人物等チェックされるとかｗ）
②それとも日本人として、日本のパスポートでアメリカ出国、キューバーでも日本のパスポートにて入国、帰りも日本のパスポートでキューバー出国、アメリカ入国する時だけアメリカのパスポートで入国がよろしいでしょうか？
③どちらにしてもLAからキューバへの直行便はないので、メキシコ経由ならアメリカ人キューバ行くのはアメリカ側の審査等の規制が緩いとききましたが、メキシコ経由がベストでしょうか？
情報が錯綜していて、しかも問題があるのはキューバ側より、アメリカ側がアメリカ人がキューバに行くことを問題視、規制してるので。。
実際行かれたことある方、教えてください。宜しくお願いいたします。
