I have acquaintances, but I don't make friends.

I feel like it's kind of a hassle. But I have kids, so when I see other kids having playdates, I sometimes feel sorry for my kids because they can't go there because of me.

I hate it when they don't split the bill. The only thing better than splitting the bill is paying for your own portion, though. I don't drink alcohol, but the wine we all drank except for me was included in the bill, and it was ＄ 42 plus per person, but it was more expensive than dinner.

I don't consider myself to have any friends, but I think there are a lot of people who take "we're just friends" quite lightly. I don't usually get involved with them at all, and I'm not the person they turn to when they have a problem (I basically solve it myself or give up and don't tell them every time). Not that there is anything wrong with that, but there is so much variation in the definition of a friend that it is hard to understand.

Someone who contacts me only when they have a favor to ask after not seeing me for years is also not a friend.

I feel sorry for myself for thinking that I don't have to worry about not having friends. Sometimes I can ask the teachers, the office staff, or the mothers in the class if I don't have any friends to help me with school matters.

I sometimes think that I hate myself like this.

I think it depends on the kind of friends you make, not on whether you need or don't need friends.

It depends on your personality.

If you feel uncomfortable or stressed after dating, then you should not want that friend.

Also, a friend is someone you meet at a certain point in your life. Even long-time friends can change their direction in life, or they may no longer be a good fit for you as you grow older.

In my case, I don't like it when the number of members increases without permission or when people I don't know join the group.
I don't like it when people add members without my permission or when people I don't know join in.
I envy people who can talk about anything and have good friends, but I don't think I can do it.
