私は９０日のビザなしで渡米する予定だったんですが、ＥＳＬの授業を４ヶ月受けたいので困っています。そういう場合、どういうビザを取ればいいんですか？

私もコヨーテさんに二票目。
＃２２さんが言ってる観光ビザが３ヶ月に戻ってるっていうのは、もしかして日本人のビザウェーバーが９０日有効っていう意味なんだったら、日本人は特権があるから以前と変わってないです。
去年の４月頃に日系無料雑誌などに弁護士さんたちがコメントしてた、移民法の改定で観光ビザは正当な理由がなければ１ヶ月しか滞在出来なくなった、というのは、日本人（ビザウェーバーで入国できる人たち）に対してではなく、韓国籍の人とか、観光目的でもＢ−２ビザを取得しなければアメリカに入国出来ない人たちに対しての事って聞きました。
４ヶ月滞在の人に対してＢビザが簡単に下りるのかどうか私は知らないですが、観光ビザって観光が目的だから、そのビザで学校に通うのは違法だと思うので、見つかったら何か処罰があるかもしれませんよ。

俺もコヨーテに一票。しったかで適当なこと書くやつがいるが、やめとけよ。で、＃１はなんでF１とんないんだ？学校行きたいならF１しかないだろうが。

＃１のNANAさんが行きたいのは４ヶ月間フリーのESLのクラスだから、I-20の発行はないと思われ。。。。。
だからF-1が取れないかと。。。
私も色々調べてみたけど、日本の米国大使館が出してるWebに各ビザのステータスがちゃんと書かれてます。
英語だけど、簡単な英語で書かれてるのでNanaさんも理解出来ると思うので参考にしてみましょう。
....で私が思う結論は、フリーのＥＳＬクラスを４ヶ月行くと言うのは、正式には無理かと。

フリーのESLに対しては、ビザは発行しません。てことで、＃１さんは９０日間ビザウェーバーでアメリカ観光でもしなさい。決してESL行こうと思い、滞在中にビザを学生ビザに変更しようと思わないように。ビザウェーバーでは変更及び滞在延長は出来ません。
