年末に渡米の予定のサラリーマンの妻です。短い期間ですが渡米前に英会話を習いたいと思っています。みなさんどこかお勧めのスクールはありますか？経験談も教えてください。とにかくたくさんありすぎて迷います。

私も、町の英会話学校で、何十万円もかけて習いましたが、お金をかけたほどには効果は得られませんでした。
最終的に最も効果を得られたと実感したのは、独学でした。書店で手に入れた教材（CD付き）とポータブルCDプレーを持って、毎日コーヒーショップに１時間立てこもり、勉強しました。後は、外国人宣教師のいる教会で英語の聖書クラスにも、通いました。
