みなさん大至急情報下さい!!
留学して四ヶ月目です。今某語学学校に通っていますが75%日本人でとてもじゃないけど英語の勉強になりません。なぜなら母国語禁止にもかかわらず、休み時間はもちろん、授業中のグループ学習でさえ、ほとんどの生徒が日本語しか話しません。先生も何も言いません。まだレベルの低いクラスのせいもあると思うのですが私は真剣に勉強したいので英語を使うと、ぷっ、何カッコつけてんの?という風潮があります。
韓国・中国・他国はごく少数でそれぞれの国の生徒がそれぞれにグループを作っているという感じなので、悲しいかな積極的にいっても上手くコミュニケーションが取れません。
日本人が多くても本人のやる気次第だと解っているので家で宿題予習は必ずやり授業＋独学で猛勉強しています。クラスメートには"何でマジ勉強してんの?"と不思議がられますが、やる気がないのに授業料払っているほうが不思議です。今回飛び級でクラスをレベルアップしても良いと言われましたがこの学校はなんだかうんざりで転校したいです。日本人がいない学校なんてないと思いますが、せめてもう少し程度の良い語学学校を知っている方大至急教えて下さい!!
ちなみに..uclaエクステンションのような高い学校には行けません..

田舎に引っ越すって事は、田舎の学校にトランスファーするって事ですか？具体的にどこの州の、どこの語学学校、あるいはCCがお勧めですかね？僕はCA州ならPomonaあたりがいいと思うけれど、残念ながらそこらへんの学校を知りません。場所によっては逆にスペイン語しか通じない所もあるし。他の州に引っ越す場合、ネットとかだとI-20が発行されるかなど外国人向けの情報が得難い為、今からならば僕は前から言っているように、本人の意識を変えるのが一番安上がりではないかと思います。CAでも本人の意識しだいでいくらでも英語は上達しますから。
